Excellent Service/Support that Delivered Successful Planning Permission Granted: Cook & Cook provided excellent service and support when we contacted them for some help to produce the required drawings for our planning application. From being welcoming, providing knowledgeable and informative insights to help with the application, and then taking on submitting the plans and application for us meant that we had a stress-free planning application and process. Cook & Cook were initially brought on board to prepare building regulations drawings and help discharge planning conditions for a self-build project. We then decided to use their quantity surveying services to prepare a detailed budget and manage the construction. We used Cook and Cook in a Quantity Surveying capacity when preparing a tender for a recent development we undertook at Vinery Road Cambridge. Jeremy was instrumental in negotiating and securing a contractor for the development at a rate that was acceptable to us. We then used them for complimentary services, specifically contract administration through to contract completion. Jeremy was instrumental in steering the contractors through the build and successfully assisted us in navigating all issues that arose. I found Jeremy to be a pleasure to work with, thoroughly professional, and highly ethical, and enjoyed working with him tremendously. It should noted that this took place during one of the most challenging times in the countries history, including two lockdowns, and associated restrictions and challenges. Cook and Cook did an excellent job of project managing a new classroom block for our school. It was a complex building on all fronts, including dealing with our listed building status. Cook and Cook ensured that everything was done according to our budget and timescale, and consulted us throughout the construction phase.
