Great service and well worth the fee. We opted for a L3 home survey which was so extensive it provided us with details of issues we did not know existed. With this survey we negotiated a reduction in our offer of over £15,000! Don't risk it and get the professionals in. Highly recommended!
Absolute waste of time. I bitterly regret instructing Fourth Wall to do my survey. My report showed just one significant issue that I was already aware of so I went ahead with the purchase only to discover 6 weeks after completion that the roof needed to be replaced. I had paid extra to have the roof assessed as this was my biggest area of concern. I contacted Fourth Wall to complain and was very quickly sent a lengthy email explaining that this wasn’t their fault. I really don’t understand how it can be ok to miss something so significant. No doubt I will get a response to this review again saying it wasn’t their fault, they didn’t break any guidelines etc etc but my warning to anyone considering this company is to make sure you make clear that you want them to actually look at all areas of the property and not just give assumptions. If they can’t promise to do that then don’t use them.
Extremely professional, punctual, and reliable. We were given a detailed report and Pete gave us a phone call to talk through everything. He answered all our questions fully. Of all the fees we have had to pay in the house buying process, this was by far the most worthwhile. We highly recommend them.
