Only been in the property 1.5 years and found damp and mould which has been rated as a category 3 and costing me £2.5k to fix. They stated on their report prior to my purchase that no damp was present, however I’ve been advised from a damp specialist and a surveyor that damp can’t go from nothing to a category 3 in 1.5 years. My health has suffered as a result being an asthmatic. When I tried to speak to them about this, I had a man from their company keep phoning me every week to see “how I was getting on” and trying to blame my solicitor (who was not at fault) or tell me the damp specialist reports were wrong, trying to pass blame off to other people basically trying to just avoid me making a complaint. Then I followed their formal complaints procedure, they took ages to get back to me and when they did they denied my complaint, refused to compensate me and I found their tone extremely rude and aggressive. I will now be taking further action against this company but don’t want anyone to be left in the same position as me! Also worth noting they claim to have “a formal complaints procedure” but after some investigation and looking on LinkedIn I’ve discovered my review was investigated and responded to by an “administration assistant”.

Highly recommended - superb service which was friendly, timely and the whole process very straightforward. Very competitively priced. As a first time seller I was nervous - but Thomas from select surveyors made the process easy and enjoyable.
