We chose Alan to do a level 3 survey on a house we are buying. His communication is absolutely brilliant. He was available the next week to do the survey. Alan completed the survey and sent the full report on the same day! He was also brilliant on the phone when discussing the findings. Couldn’t recommend enough! I also sent his details to my cousin who has also recieved such a quick turn around

Avoid if you have a property that was built before the 1960s. Allan couldn’t be more unqualified to assess older buildings. He was instructed by a buyer to assess my house and obviously hasn’t got a clue on how old buildings from the 17th century were constructed. I had a structural engineer attend my house who confirmed that Allan Rances’ survey of my house what’s absolutely wrong in every way! Allan should stick to assessing sheds or commercial units where it’s nice and basic for him. Completely incompetent.
