We used Steve in March to survey a property we were hoping to buy (Level 3 survey). The booking process was easy and friendly. Steve asked us beforehand if we had anything specific to look at. After the survey, Steve rang to discuss what he'd found and put it into context (incredibly helpful to have instant and easy to understand info). The written report that followed was received promptly, it was clear and high quality. We felt we had a really clear idea of the quality of the house based on what Steve had found and how he communicated it. We are purchasing a 3 bed semi detached (1950’s) and Steve did a fantastic job. We did a level 3. You want a surveyor you can trust and Steve is exactly that. No question was ever too much for him, and he spent additional time with us on the phone drilling down into the particular issues that came up in the report - that ultimately enabled us to make a decision whether to purchase or not. Seeking a formal survey of my (30 year) home roof, was provided Building Surveyor Details as a validated/verified RICS business. Shared detailed requirements for Steve and we had very helpful exchanges around how this could be and his availability and my location. Date agreed for less than 2 weeks and terms shared for the work. Steve was promptly on time, had all the equipment including drone and the survey of the roof took approximately 1.5 hours including the internal loft space, combined garage, utility room and 4 bedroom house. Steve was thoroughly professional throughout and advised of any items as he progressed his survey, and which would be in his formal report, along with 1st class photographs (including drone) of the whole and individual sections of the roof of specific interest, in particular guttering and adjacent eaves and roofing felt work. After finishing the survey work Steve confirmed set clear expectation on delivery the completed report which was delivered promptly and to the necessary levels of detail and items of focus. Overall I consider this to be an excellent and worthwhile investment in assuring the integrity of our roof and associated features.
