Novello Chartered Surveyors - Leeds

They visited the property, charged extra to “fast-track” the process, and yet never delivered the survey—not on time, not late, not ever. I paid for a service that was never completed. This is dishonest, misleading, and a total waste of money. I strongly advise others to stay away.

Really great experience with Novello whilst purchasing a listed property in Leeds. We've honestly been so pleased with the whole process so far. Hannah was so knowledgeable and such a lovely person to talk to, and gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision on the purchase. Hannah rang us the day of the survey visit to give us a high level summary of the report, before writing up an extremely detailed version with pics etc. It was nice to get that immediate piece of mind and ask any questions over the phone, as opposed to just reading the report. The report was extremely thorough, clearly written/photographed and well-balanced given Hannah's extensive knowledge of properties of a similar age e.g. "this has been noted but is quite common on properties of this age". This gave us peace of mind and is the pov we were looking to gain from a full structural survey.

I had the pleasure of using Novello for a purchase which is on-going & the level of service provided from the office manager (Ineke) to our surveyor (John) has been exemplary. The survey itself was comprehensive & served as a great reference. Likewise the ‘aftercare’ provided has been very diligent & supportive which I imagine is above and beyond their remit. I will be using these again in future & would highly recommend.

Great overall experience with Novello. They provided excellent service throughout, and got quotes back to us quickly. The quality of the survey report was fantastic and we would definitely return if buying another property in the future. The report turnaround was also admirable when considering the level of depth it was in and the time it took. Overall, fab!

Very happy with our Level 3 Survey, of a period property we are purchasing, by Novello and would highly recommend. The process of arranging the survey was very efficient and we felt Novello gave the best quote compared to other local surveyors (as their quote included excellent detail about what the survey involved and example reports, which other companies did not provide). Our surveyor, John, did a great job explaining to us the main problem areas of the house and advised us on our next steps with those concerns. The report was then completed and sent to us, and our solicitors, within 3 working days. It was a comprehensive report and we feel it was worth the quoted price.

I commissioned Novello to provide a property valuation for probate purposes. The surveyor arrived on time and carried out his survey efficiently. The survey report arrived on time and gave me all the detail I needed. Novello are not cheap but their rates are similar to other firms of surveyors. I would happily use them again.

We had a survey (private client) undertaken by Novello (John Brook), the survey was very detailed, John walked us through the survey in particular the areas of concern, in addition John supported is post survey with follow-up questions and advice. This was extremely helpful and we would recommend the Novello team.
