Allied Surveyors Scotland

Allied Surveyors Scotland is a firm of chartered surveyors established in 1998. It operates 30 offices across Scotland and employs over 80 RICS qualified chartered surveyors, making it one of Scotland's largest independent firms of chartered surveyors. The firm is regulated by RICS and holds ISO9001 Quality Management Certification.

It carries professional indemnity insurance up to £5 million, employers liability insurance of £10 million, and public liability insurance of £5 million. Allied Surveyors Scotland does not engage consultants or subcontractors. Its national coverage spans every postcode in mainland Scotland and much of the Western Isles. Services include residential and commercial property valuations, Home Reports, energy reports, building surveying, quantity surveying and project management.

Punctuality and professionalism emerge as the qualities that clients return to most often when describing this Glasgow surveying practice. Reviewers repeatedly note that surveyors turn up at the agreed time, with one account of a visit taking place exactly as arranged, and commend the courteous and efficient manner in which the work is carried out. Home Reports and valuations feature prominently in the feedback, with clients describing these outputs as dependable sources for potential buyers. Named individuals including David Gibson, Daniel and Ian Farquhar receive warm mentions for exceeding expectations and resolving queries swiftly, while the wider team is often described as friendly and approachable.

An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the practice's usefulness across both domestic and commercial property matters, suggesting a breadth of experience that clients value. Knowledgeable advice and clear communication before and after the job are also highlighted, and the general tone of the feedback reflects satisfaction with a service that feels personal rather than transactional. The consistent thread is a team combining technical competence with a genuinely welcoming manner, leaving clients confident in the results they receive.
