Shepherd Chartered Surveyors

Shepherd Chartered Surveyors was established in 1880 and is regulated by RICS. The firm merged with Hardies Property and Construction Consultants, with that business conducted through a sister operation. It offers residential and commercial property services, including Home Reports, Property Valuation, Lease Advisory and Asset Management. Shepherd Chartered Surveyors operates a network of offices and surveyors around Scotland.

Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has built a reputation in Glasgow for efficient and professional property work, with reviewers consistently highlighting the speed of the process and the quality of the resulting reports. Various customers describe the team as quick to act, with home reports often prepared faster than anticipated and draft findings ready for approval within a day. Punctuality and reliability come up repeatedly, surveyors arriving on time and conducting inspections in a courteous and thorough manner.

Communication is another recurring theme, whether through straightforward online facilities or direct contact with helpful staff, and named team member Tofor receives particular praise for a responsive approach. The expertise of the surveyors is frequently mentioned, with accurate assessments and clear, well-organised reporting that buyers find easy to follow.

Reviewers also note that inspections are carried out respectfully, with attention to the property and to the concerns of those present. A detail many reviews return to is the seamless handling of online forms and enquiries, making the administrative side of a survey straightforward. The firm is also described as experienced in producing home reports and in providing more detailed surveys where underlying issues are suspected, with the resulting advice regarded as dependable and carefully considered by those who commission it.
