Building Sense Limited

We wanted to undertake a kitchen/diner knock through with the creation of a downstairs utility/WC in our house. We had an idea of what we wanted but were struggling to get the project up and running ourselves. We therefore, had a look on the internet and found Mark who has been excellent every step of the way. He came around and undertook detailed measurements and created accurate existing and desired project floor plans. His knowledge of buildings made the process very smooth and he was great at implementing our ideas whilst imparting his wisdom to make necessary tweaks. Following on from this he co-ordinated for us to obtain the required structural calculations/designs from structural engineer. In addition, he has been very helpful in guiding us through the bureaucracy/processes involved of party wall acts, building control applications etc. Without Mark our project idea would very much still be just an idea. However, with his help/expertise the building work is on the verge of commencing. I would highly recommend Mark to anybody that needs help with home renovation drawings/designs and the subsequent processes that need to be navigated.

We used Mark for our last two surveys. We were really happy with with his communication, the reports delivered, and his responsiveness long after we moved in.

Mark has been great from start to finish dealing with him for a Level 3 survey. He was open and honest with which survey we’d need and actually recommended that we likely only needed a Level 2 survey from looking at the property on Rightmove, but we wanted to go more detailed for our peace of mind. We were able to meet him at the property after the survey and view the house again with Mark pointing out the important things for us to consider, it was great to have this feedback on the day to help us speed up the process towards exchange. We also received many photos on the day from the survey. We received the report about a week after the survey, and it was very detailed and clear with estimated prices for repairs to make in the short and medium term. Many thanks and we’d definitely use Building Sense Ltd again in the future!
