Godfrey Payton

Godfrey Payton is an independent, multi-disciplined firm of Chartered Surveyors, Estate Agents, and Registered Valuers established in 1806. It operates from offices in Warwick, Coventry, and Market Harborough. The firm provides surveying, valuation, estate agency, lettings, planning, and rural, commercial, and residential portfolio management services.

It supports homeowners, landlords, developers and commercial clients across Warwickshire and the surrounding Midlands region. The firm advises on Strategic Planning and Development, Biodiversity Net Gain, Environmental Schemes, and Compulsory Purchase, and offers estate management through qualified land agents.

In Coventry and the surrounding area, clients of Godfrey Payton describe commercial property acquisition and letting work handled with notable care by Riaz Khan. Several customers mention that their search for suitable premises or investment stock was managed thoroughly from the outset, with the same individual staying involved through to completion. Reviewers repeatedly highlight how readily questions were answered, including outside standard working hours, which helped one client move premises quickly and another secure tenants soon after purchase.

Being kept informed at every stage, rather than needing to chase for updates, is a point that comes up often. Riaz is named directly for his professional and helpful manner, described as a gentleman in his dealings and a credit to the firm. The result praised is a smooth transaction: a new business base found and secured, and a purchased investment returned to the same hands for letting. Availability, reliability and a supportive approach during negotiations emerge as the consistent themes, with clients expressing gratitude for the practical assistance received throughout their dealings.
