Ian came out to do a RICS redbook survey for a house I’m selling to my mum. I needed a survey to demonstrate to HMRC that the Captial Gains Tax paid is correct despite the fact that it’s an arm-in-arm transaction. Sandi in the office sorted this out quickly, kept me informed, has been professional but with a relaxed tone and seemingly works 24/7! Ian came out and he was super friendly. Got on with the job, was polite and explained things in simple terms to my mum who can struggle a bit with overwhelm, and then went away to get on with the report. Through no fault of their own, there was a short delay in providing me with the output, but they kept me informed throughout and when received, the report was exactly what I needed for my HMRC evidence. Could not recommend highly enough. Not sure 5* covers it to be honest. Thank you to you both for your help and excellent comms.

Amazing service from start to finish. I cannot recommend this company enough. Sandi is an absolute star. Reviews saying how great she was were the reason I opted to use them, and I am so glad I did. Her advice to go for a Level 3 instead of a Level 2 really paid off for me. It was a difficult situation where the seller was uncooperative about allowing the inspection. Sandi took this in her stride and even reorganised the appointment three times. Communicating with me, the estate agents and the PX company, she finally managed to get Ian in to carry out the survey. I really don't think we would have got there without her skills. The report Ian prepared was very thorough, with detailed photographs that really helped me understand the issues with the house. Sandi even took time on her day off to explain points in the survey and gave me the knowledge and confidence to get the house at a much better price. The survey more than paid for itself, and the service I received throughout the whole process was exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone buying a property.
