K&R Damp Proofing and Surveyors

Did my damp proofing. Helpful, friendly and hardworking. Great from start to finish highly recommended 😊

Surveyor came to inspect home next working day after call. Survey clearly outlined the issue and how to resolve it. Better and best option was provided. Workmen were friendly, considerate, and knew what they were doing. Fans were installed without issue or mess. Highly recommend if you are having issue with damp!!

Ross came to my property soon after I called. He was very practical and honest. He gave me advice and his honest opinion that I had already sorted the problem and should just give it time, without asking for any payment for the visit. He could have easily suggested work to do as my knowledge on the subject is poor but he did not and I think this speaks volumes about his integrity. I would trust this business with any future damp issues because of this.

Ross came to my house to inspect the external vents to see if they were functional. He was prompt and provided honest, practical advice. I would 100% recommend him, as it can be difficult to find an honest and competent tradesperson.

The enquiry started well via email for a damp survey request with Ross Darlington then changed to being ignored after some further enquiries which he could have easily just answered as unable to do this additional damp investigating with certain elements of particular testing equipment as unavailable. Though just refunded and without properly explaining or resolving between the customer and himself with courtesy in explaining his limitations and if still wanted the damp survey. Ross made his own decision and created a major inconvenience in very short notice to cancel with refund and was left to contact the estate agent appointment already booked.

Ross came to my house for a free assessment of a damp issue I’ve been having. He was extremely polite and professional and was able to diagnose the problem after internal and external checks. He was very knowledgeable and was honest with his findings, would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

We were very happy with the service that Ross provided. Prompt visit after contact, professional advice of work required. Work carried out to an excellent standard, with great care taken to minimise mess in the house. While I hope that we will not require the need to call Ross out again, I would certainly recommend him for a great job.
