I emailed Wayne Bromley MSc FFPWS MPTS for a schedule of condition report. He called me back promptly, went through all of my options and informed me that they only now do the new photo surveys, rather than the old style full written accompanying report. He then gave me the contact details of another surveyor who could provide me the old style report, who was actually slightly cheaper than him! To be fair Wayne was cheaper than any of the other 8 surveyors I had contacted. He even then gave me advice on how my builders should be removing my chimney breasts to avoid any damage to my neighbours plaster. He also followed up our call with the other surveyors details, even though he had given them to me over the phone. Wow, who does this, in this day and age? I actually feel slightly guilty not going with him now, as he went out of his way to help me! Wayne thank you! Excellent service; and very thorough and comprehensive survey and party wall award. Following his survey Wayne explained clearly and concisely, the potential difficulties that would arise for both parties if our neighbours proceeded with their plans for an extension along our property boundary as detailed in their plans. I am sure the neighbours were not aware of the implications either, and were able to amend the plans accordingly. Therefore Wayne's diligence has prevented the likelihood of problems arising during the building work, and a potential future boundary dispute. We had a single storey rear extension built and used the expertise of Wayne to help support our neighbours through the build process. Wayne was outstanding, he came around and took the time to talk me through the party wall process, he spoke to the neighbours in detail which set them at ease. Not only is Wayne clearly an expert in his but his service is excellent. He responds within a couple of hours should you have a query and also sets it out in plain English and not surveyor speak. The neighbours raised one query with regard our build to Wayne who carefully navigated them through the scenario. Mr Party Wall is superb! I honestly can not fault their service. TOP SERVICE! Not all heroes wear capes, but Wayne was certainly our hero. We were being bullied by an ignorant and overly aggressive architect working for our neighbours. In an attempt to manipulate us, he made bogus law threats. We turned to Wayne who instantly spotted the flagrant errors of our neighbours Architect, and in just two emails had the bully show his true benighted face. Wayne is the professional you want on your side. Approachable. Knowledgeable. Fair. Honest. Five stars just aren't enough, but it's all I can give.
